OKASA and Thunderbird Sailing Club will host our second WATERFEST this year on August 19th at the Lake Thunderbird Boathouse. The clinic is a great way for individuals with disabilities to learn how to water-ski, sail, and canoe/kayak. The Clinic runs from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. This is a Free event to all participants. Lunch is provided for registered participants and attending family from 11:30-1:00. Interested to see what WATERFEST is all about?? Come join us for lunch and watch the fun in action!
Before participating in the water activities, participants must demonstrate the ability to independently flip over from their stomach to their back with a life vest on, and they must be able to hold their breath for 20 seconds.
Registration deadline is August 14th. Waterski spots may be limited so please register in advance!!
